Join us for a family-friendly event to kick off the international soccer tournament taking place in North America from June 11 through July 19, 2026.  Because nine of the tournament matches will take place in Dallas, millions of visitors are expected to flock to North Texas. World Soccer Festival is a way of getting our community in on this phenomenon. This premier event is being organized by Midlothian Parks and Recreation and hosted by the City of Midlothian in cooperation with Midlothian Chamber of Commerce.

World Soccer Festival

5 to 8 p.m., Community Park Great Lawn

• Youth Fun Zone (games and inflatables)
• Flavor Zone (food and beverages for purchase)
• Exhibitors and Merchants (shopping and information)
• Multicultural Entertainment (performers representing countries participating in the international tournament)
• Goal Kick Zone (soccer-related activities for youth and adults)

Watch Party

8 to 10:30 p.m.

Bring chairs and blankets to sit on the lawn at the Art Pierard Memorial Amphitheater to take in the match between the United States and Paraguay, which will be happening live in Los Angeles. We are currently awaiting approval from the FIFA organization to approve our watch party event.
