We are excited to announce the formation of the Midlothian Chamber of Commerce Legislative Committee. The mission of this committee is to facilitate the education of our membership on local, state and federal issues that impact the businesses in Midlothian. In addition, we will make recommendations to the Chamber Board for advocacy positions on key legislative issues to be supported or opposed for the betterment of the local business community.
Interested? We need several additional committee members as our goal is to have an assigned committee person to attend City Council, School Board, and County Commissioners Court meetings. The legislative committee will meet at noon on the Second Monday each month at a location determined by the Chamber staff (check out our calendar). Please come and help us protect the interests of our local economy.

Non- Profit Coalition
What is a partnership of non profit directors called? We aren’t sure yet, but this network of community service organizations is off to a great start. The goal of this newly formed group is to be a resource and support to all directors, board members and volunteers that work to better Ellis County. Monthly meetings will be held on the Second Thursday of every month at 11:30 am, at Beef O’ Brady’s. For more information email Committee chair Amanda Skinner at email@example.com
The Midlothian Chamber is the catalyst for economic growth for our members and the community through advocacy,
