Chamber Ambassadors

Chamber Ambassadors welcome and recruit new chamber members, act as goodwill representatives at chamber functions, and aid in the support of various programs and events. Ambassadors have required monthly meetings and minimum participation standards. Application and admission by current Ambassadors is required to serve. Read more

Legislative Committee

The mission of this committee is to facilitate the education of our membership on local, state and federal issues that impact the businesses in Midlothian. In addition, the Committee makes recommendations to the Chamber Board for advocacy positions on key legislative issues to be supported or opposed for the betterment of the local business community. Membership Committee

The Membership Committee represents members and solicit input to determine if the Chamber is meeting members' expectations. Members of the committee help formulate membership policies, guide and participate in the development of programs and benefits with the goal of attracting new members and retaining current members. The committee meets monthly on the second Thursday of every month at 11:30 am, at the Chamber office. Contact the Chamber if you are interested in serving on this committee.

Education Committee

The Education Committee helps direct the education programs of the Chamber. Committee members work closely with the Small Business Development Center, Workforce Commission, local colleges, and universities to meet the business education needs of the Chamber members. Event Committees

The Chamber holds multiple events each year. The following committees meet to plan, organize, and solicit sponsors and volunteers for these events. Committees include:

  • Auction Committee
  • Awards Committee
  • Golf Tournament Committee
  • Wine & Arts Committee

Non-Profit Coalition

The Non-profit Coalition is a network of community service organizations formed to offer support and resources for all directors, board members and volunteers that work to better Ellis County.  Monthly meetings are be held on the Second Thursday of every month at 11:30 am, at Beef O’ Brady’s.
